How are you celebrating life after transplant?

Celebrating life after transplant

So many post-transplant moments are worth sharing! Matt, Danielle, Maritza and Steve shared their special moments with us—now it’s your turn. Help us create a “Survivors Celebrate” photo album through Facebook—and see how others like you are celebrating life after transplant.

It’s easy:

  1. Upload your photo to our Facebook page
  2. Add your caption - where are you? What are you doing? Why is it special to you?
  3. We'll add your photo to the "Survivors Celebrate" album and share with others

Support through social media: Kristin's experience

Kristin

Kristin, transplant recipient and avid social media user

Kristin received a transplant in January of 2009 after being diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. While family and friends provided a wonderful support system during her treatment and recovery, she’s benefited from another type of support through social media—and has made lifelong friends in the process. Today, Kristin stays connected to transplant information and support through Facebook and a variety of
e-communities.

Q: How did you start looking for information? How did you know where to go?
